Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to nine felony charges in connection with his role in an alleged effort to overturn Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss in Arizona.

The charges stem from a plot to submit a document to Congress falsely declaring Trump the winner of the state’s presidential election.
