Elizabeth Holmes, the infamous Theranos founder, just got major news! Her prison sentence for scamming investors is getting shorter. Originally facing 11+ years, she might be out by August 2032 — two years earlier than expected!

So, what happened? Turns out good behavior in prison can pay off. Federal inmates can earn time credits for stuff like anger management and taking classes. These credits can shave months (or even years!) off their sentences. Seems like Holmes is making the most of her time behind bars!

But wait, there’s more! Holmes isn’t the only Theranos exec getting an early release. Her partner-in-crime, Ramesh “Sunny” Balwani, might also be out by November 2032. Their appeals hearing is coming up in June, so things could change, but it looks like both of them might be free sooner than expected. ⚖

Remember Theranos? The blood-testing company that promised to revolutionize healthcare with a single finger prick? Yeah, it turned out to be a total scam. Investors lost millions, and Holmes became a symbol of Silicon Valley’s dark side.
