The son of Ryan WesÂley Routh, the man named as the susÂpect in a posÂsiÂble assasÂsiÂnaÂtion attempt near DonÂald Trumpâs FloriÂda golf club, has spoÂken out about his fatherâs alleged actions.
Oran Routh, the 35-year-old son of the susÂpect, told DailyMail.com that this was the first he had heard of the alleged assasÂsiÂnaÂtion attempt.
Routhâs Son Claims His Father is Not Violent
Oran Routh statÂed that his father hates Trump as âevery reaÂsonÂable perÂson does,â but he doesÂnât believe his father is a vioÂlent perÂson and couldÂnât fathÂom his father tarÂgetÂing the forÂmer president.
âHeâs my dad and all heâs had is couÂple trafÂfic tickÂets, as far as I know,â the son said. âThatâs crazy. I know my dad and love my dad, but thatâs nothÂing like him.â
Routh Moved to Hawaii, Worked as a Contractor
AccordÂing to the artiÂcle, Routh moved to Hawaii a few years ago and was livÂing with his longÂtime girlÂfriend. His son said he didÂnât know his father was even in Florida.
Routh reportÂedÂly worked as a genÂerÂal conÂtracÂtor, buildÂing small homes in Hawaii, and preÂviÂousÂly owned a roofÂing company.
Son Justifies Fatherâs Alleged Actions
