Teen Charged With Murder After Fatal Shooting at Georgia Prom After-Party 💃🔫

A 15-year-old has been arrest­ed and charged with mur­der fol­low­ing a shoot­ing at a prom after-par­ty in Fitzger­ald, Georgia. 

The inci­dent result­ed in the death of a fel­low teen, Chyell Paulk, and left three oth­ers injured. The sus­pect, whose iden­ti­ty has not been released, is fac­ing mul­ti­ple charges includ­ing felony mur­der, aggra­vat­ed assault, and pos­ses­sion of a firearm dur­ing the com­mis­sion of a felony.

Local author­i­ties received reports of the shoot­ing in the ear­ly hours of the morn­ing, arriv­ing on the scene to find four indi­vid­u­als with gun­shot wounds. The vic­tims were prompt­ly trans­port­ed to the hos­pi­tal for treat­ment, but trag­i­cal­ly, 15-year-old Chyell Paulk suc­cumbed to his injuries.

The Geor­gia Bureau of Inves­ti­ga­tion is cur­rent­ly look­ing into the cir­cum­stances sur­round­ing the shoot­ing, urg­ing any­one with infor­ma­tion to con­tact the Fitzger­ald Police Depart­ment or the GBI Region­al Inves­ti­ga­tion Office in Perry.
