Two former employees of the Calhoun City School District, Railey Greeson and Brooklyn Shuler, have been indicted and arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with their male students.

The women, who were in each other’s wedding parties, are facing serious charges that could land them behind bars for decades if convicted.

According to the indictment, Greeson is accused of having sex with two different male students while employed by the school district.

Shuler, 23, is charged with having sexual intercourse with one male student. The grand jury claims the women “reasonably should have known” that their alleged victims were enrolled as students at the time of the alleged crimes.

Greeson and Shuler were arrested and booked at the Gordon County Jail, where they were later released on bond. The indictment does not reveal the ages of the students or the specific schools they were attending.

The alleged incidents occurred between October 29, 2021, and January 3, 2022, prior to both women’s marriages. Shuler got married in November 2022, with Greeson as her maid of honor, while Greeson was wed in October 2023, with Shuler as a bridesmaid.

If convicted, Greeson and Shuler could face one to 25 years in prison or a fine of up to $100,000. If sodomy was involved, the women could face up to 50 years behind bars.
