Wealthy Los Angeles socialite Rebecca Grossman fatally struck two young brothers, ages 8 and 11, with her Mercedes after a boozy lunch in 2020.

The chilling letters she wrote to the parents, obtained by prosecutors, reveal her narcissistic mindset and lack of remorse for the tragedy.

Grossman, 60, laments not driving her car into a tree instead of the boys’ fragile bodies, which she hit at a speed of over 73 mph. She also writes about her “harsh” childhood and two past miscarriages, attempting to paint herself as the victim.

The correspondence was used by prosecutors to depict Grossman as unrepentant, even three-and-a-half years after the fatal crash. She was found guilty of murder earlier this year, with the judge citing her boozing and speeding as factors.

In the letters, Grossman claims she didn’t realize children were involved until later, and that she would have steered into a tree if she had the chance. She also mentions her “strong relationship with our heavenly Father” starting from a young age.

The chilling details in Grossman’s letters highlight her narcissistic behavior and failure to take responsibility for the devastating loss of the two young boys. The case underscores the tragic consequences of reckless driving and lack of remorse from those responsible.
