Arsenal may reportedly add Alberto Sambi Lokonga to an exchange trade for Manuel Locatelli.
The Juventus star will be available in January after failing to convince manager Massimiliano Allegri to include him in his long-term plans.
Arsenal tried to sign the player last year but were turned down by Juventus, leaving them with long-term interest.
With Juventus struggling in Serie A, the Gunners hope Locatelli will reconsider.
Calciomercato reports that Mikel Arteta’s team wants to let Alberto Sambi Lokonga go.
The club added that an exchange trade with Locatelli could include Loconga.
The Belgian, who joined the North London side from Anderlecht for around €19.5m in 2021, has yet to make an impact.
He made 12 Premier League appearances last season and has made two starts so far this season.
The 22-year-old Lokonga came on as a second-half substitute during Arsenal’s 3–1 win in the North London derby last weekend.
Euro 2020 winner Locatelli, 24, is more of a regular at Juventus.
He has started six of eight games in Serie A this season, missing the other two due to injury.
Manchester United have been looking to sign Locatelli over the summer.
However, the Juventus ace is said to have turned down the offer.
