Manchester United could sign Joao Felix on loan in January to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
SunSport confirmed last night exclusively that manager Erik Ten Hag wants Ronaldo to leave after refusing to come off the bench against Tottenham.
Meanwhile, reports from Madrid say Felix wants to leave Atlético in January or the summer.
Spain’s Deportes Cuatro say United could be open for a move.
In Spain, a loan move in January and a loan move next summer are reportedly options.
Felix is represented by the same Jorge Mendes as Cristiano Ronaldo.
And Mendes could be in talks to sign two Portuguese stars in January.
The Red Devil has already been linked to Felix in recent weeks.
Ronaldo has been dismissed from first-team training ahead of tomorrow’s game against Chelsea, fueling speculation about his departure from the club.
But if United decide to sign Felix, they will face stiff competition.
Spanish media AS reports that Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and an unnamed Premier League team are interested in signing him.
That team could be Manchester United.
However, PSG have already reached out to Felix to negotiate a possible deal.
Atlético hope the 22-year-old will become one of Portugal’s stars at the World Cup and increase his market value ahead of the January window.
