With Real Madrid ‘watching’ Tottenham star Son Heung-min, the South Korean considers his future in North London.

The 30-year-old, who joined Spurs for €25m from Bayer Leverkusen, has been a big hit at the club.

He has 136 goals and 76 assists in 341 appearances for Lillywhite.

His performance over the last 12 months also saw him share the Premier League Golden Boot with Mo Salah in May and finished 11th in the Ballon d’Or last week.

However, according to German media SPORT1, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is “keeping an eye out” and is “carefully considering” his next career.

Son’s current contract with Tottenham does not expire until the end of the 2024/25 season.

But he’s in his 30s and realizes it’s time to move to a bigger club.

He has had seven sensational years at Tottenham but has yet to win a major trophy at the club.

He has reached the final twice, losing the Champions League final to Liverpool in 2019 and the Carabao Cup final to Manchester City in 2021.

And recently he’s been having a tough time under Antonio Conte.

Spurs, who had their best start in the Premier League, were beaten by Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle.

The three-game losing streak leaves them five points behind the Gunners, but they also played more games.

Son, meanwhile, has five goals and two assists in all competitions so far this season.

However, all three of his league goals came in the same game, scoring a hat-trick in a 6–2 victory over Leicester.
