What­sApp group chat admin­is­tra­tors may soon have the pow­er to delete mes­sages for all mem­bers of a group chat.

Group chats in What­sApp may soon be bet­ter mod­er­at­ed. In sev­er­al recent­ly released beta ver­sions, What­sApp has incor­po­rat­ed a new option that gives more pow­ers to admin­is­tra­tors of group conversations.

Accord­ing to WABetaIn­fo, gen­er­al­ly well informed when it comes to What­sApp, the mes­sag­ing app may soon include a fea­ture that allows group admin­is­tra­tors to delete a mes­sage post­ed in the conversation.

Thus, when a mes­sage has been delet­ed for all mem­bers of a con­ver­sa­tion by an admin­is­tra­tor, What­sApp indi­cates it direct­ly in the con­ver­sa­tion. As the fea­ture is cur­rent­ly still under devel­op­ment, no avail­abil­i­ty date is known yet.
