U.S. : A missing New Jersey teacher found dead in a shallow grave

The body of a kindergarten teacher found in a shallow grave in a New Jersey town was recovered Tuesday, police said.

Luz Hernandez, a 33-year-old mother of three from Jersey City, was absent from her job at BelovED Charter School on Monday after noticing her family hadn’t spoken to her over the weekend.

A search warrant was issued for her. NBC New York reported. As a result of the welfare investigation by the authorities, a tragic figure was discovered.

Hernandez’s cause and manner of death have not been determined pending the findings of the coroner’s office. At this time, the official statement is that his death is suspicious.

Prosecutors are actively investigating.

“She was one of the best teachers, and she was loved by everyone. It makes her feel very mixed.” Hernandez’s cousin told NBC New York, “We just want justice.” I just want it,” he said.

“We love her, her family, her friends. She’s a wonderful girl and it’s unfair for someone to take her life, why?”

According to NBC New York, the BelovED Charter School will be closed Wednesday so students and staff can mourn.
