Kia is recall­ing near­ly 500,000 Tel­luride SUVs from mod­el years 2020–2024 due to a poten­tial fire risk. The issue lies with the front pow­er seat motor, which could over­heat due to a jammed seat slide knob, increas­ing the risk of a fire.

What to Do:

  • Park your Kia Tel­luride out­side until repairs are made.
  • Look out for warn­ing signs like an inabil­i­ty to adjust the seat, burn­ing odors, or smoke.
  • Con­tact your Kia deal­er to sched­ule a free repair. They will install a brack­et for the pow­er seat switch back cov­er and replace the seat slide knob.
