Eden Hazard is one of five Real Madrid stars up for sale this summer, according to reports.
The former Chelsea player hasn’t lived up to Real’s expectations since his summer 2019 transfer.
Real paid 121 million euros for the Belgian, who at the time was one of the best players in world football.
But Hazard has missed an astonishing 430 days of his Real career through injury.
And according to Marca, he is one of five players the club bosses are opening up for sale this summer.
Forwards Mariano Diaz and Luka Jovic are also believed to be up for sale, with Real looking to sign Paris Saint-Germain ace Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer.
These five stars could finance the move of the Monegasque star Aurélien Tchouameni.
The France international has been a standout star for the Ligue 1 side despite a poor domestic and European campaign at Monaco.
Should Hazard become available, there would be no shortage of suitors, especially in England.
Arsenal’s top four prospects are reportedly interested in bringing Hazard back to the Premier League.
Newly mega-rich Newcastle are also said to be interested in the 31-year-old.
His former club Chelsea can’t do business at the moment after owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned by the British government for his links to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The European champions cannot buy or sell players or extend the contracts of current stars such as club captain Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
