Mohamed Salah is ready for a move to Barcelona, with the Span­ish giants con­sid­er­ing a deal this sum­mer, accord­ing to reports.

The Liv­er­pool strik­er’s future is uncer­tain with his cur­rent con­tract up to 2023.

Barcelona are try­ing to take advan­tage of this sit­u­a­tion and see Salah as a cheap­er alter­na­tive to anoth­er trans­fer tar­get — Erling Haaland.

And the Blau­grana are report­ed­ly will­ing to spend £58 mil­lion to land the Egypt­ian, accord­ing to Span­ish media out­let Sport.

Liv­er­pool would prob­a­bly want more than that, but with Salah’s con­tract expir­ing in 2023, they may have to reduce their ask­ing price.

The report high­lights that the Reds could place a val­u­a­tion of £83 mil­lion on Salah.

And Liv­er­pool could even put Salah on the trans­fer list this sum­mer if they fail to agree new terms by then.

There has been spec­u­la­tion around Salah’s new con­tract with the play­er deter­mined to receive a salary that match­es his talents.

He spoke on the issue say­ing, “I want to stay, but it’s not in my hands. It’s in their hands.

“They know what I want. I’m not ask­ing for crazy stuff.”
