A footballer and his partner were arrested at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris with up to 100kg of cocaine in their luggage.
Jean-Manuel Nedra, 29, plays for Aiglon du Lamentin in the Martinique 1st division.
Nedra and his teammates were arrested on Sunday after more than 100kg of cocaine was found in a suitcase.
French daily Le Parisien said he was taken into custody after being handed over to an examiner at the local public prosecutor’s office.
