Rihanna is expecting her second child with partner A$AP Rocky, her rep confirmed Sunday night.
After Umbrella singer Rihanna performed in her all-red outfit during her Super Bowl halftime performance, social media flared up with speculation that she was pregnant again.
During her performance, Rihanna rubbed her belly and showed off her baby bump.
Both her Rihanna’s name and the word “pregnant” were trending on her Twitter Sunday.
Rihanna gave birth to her first child in May.
In an interview with CBS’s Nate Burleson before her performance, Rihanna was asked if she had any surprises planned for the halftime show. “She’s going to bring someone,” she replied. I’m not sure, but we’ll find out soon enough.
She also told Apple Music that she was three months postpartum to her first child when Rihanna agreed to perform the halftime show. She believes it was her motherhood that inspired her to say “yes.”
“When you become a mother, something happens that makes you think you can conquer the world, you can do anything. And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world,” she said. It was said that it was a great challenge.
