Antonio Conte is reportedly set to leave Tottenham at the end of the season.
The Italian player is under contract with Lillywhite only until June.
The Spurs have an option for a 12-month contract extension.
However, according to Italian critic Gianluca DiMarzio, they will let Conte’s contract expire and he will leave.
Appearing on Italy’s “Sky”, DiMarggio revealed the situation at the age of 53.
“The only news I can tell you for sure is that Antonio Conte is leaving Tottenham at the end of the season,” he said.
There has been no ‘spark’, his contract has expired and the club have not asked him to renew.
“The club doesn’t like frequent ridicule.
“Conte wants his players to win, the club likes to negotiate, but the feelings with the club are not on the same page.
“His family, among other things, remains in Italy”
The former Chelsea boss has been named by Spurs to replace Nuno Espirito Santo in November 2021.
Last year, he helped Tottenham improve their form by overtaking Arsenal to finish fourth.
But this time, on the contrary, the Spurs have done very poorly even if they won.
Tottenham have picked up just four points from four league games in the Premier League restart after the World Cup.
They are in 5th place, 6 points behind the top 4.
Conte has had a lot of trauma this season.
His longtime friend and Spurs fitness coach Gian Piero Bentorone died in October after a brief illness.
Our Italian friend Gianluca Vialli passed away earlier this month.
