
Sony today announced the release window for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the sequel to 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man and 2020’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. PlayStation 5 exclusive software is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2023.
Insomniac Games’ sequel will continue the story of Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they take on Venom, who was briefly hinted at in the first two games.
Not much is known about this web-slinging sequel yet, but at least the release window is tighter.
Sony has re-announced its 2023 roadmap for non-superhero sequels on the PlayStation official blog. Square Enix’s role-playing game ‘Forspoken’ is a hot new IP launching on January 24th.
The long-awaited Harry Potter adventure Hogwarts Legacy is finally coming to PS5 on February 10th and PS4 on April 4th.
Destiny 2: Lightfall will be released on PS5/4 on February 28th, and the remake of Resident Evil 4 will be released on PS5/4 on March 24th.
Final Fantasy XVI, which introduces deep combat to the series, is set to launch for PS5 in Q2 or Q3.
PlayStation hardware is also coming next year. First, Sony’s wireless controller, the DualSense Edge, will be available on January 26th for $200.
Finally, the successor to Sony’s six-year-old virtual reality headset, the PS VR2, will set you back $550 when it launches on February 22nd.
