Terrifying fire injures one near Lincoln Memorial

Yikes! A scary fire erupt­ed near the Lin­coln Memo­r­i­al on Thurs­day mornin’! Thank­ful­ly, no one is crit­i­cal, but one per­son did get air­lift­ed with seri­ous injuries.

What went down?

A con­ces­sion stand north­west of the memo­r­i­al went up in flames. Thank­ful­ly, fire­fight­ers got there fast and extin­guished the blaze. Seems a propane tank might be the cul­prit, as fire­fight­ers secured them from the scene.

Videos show fire­fight­ers hos­ing down the charred remains of the kiosk, with a cou­ple of propane tanks chill­ing on the side.
