Daphne Joy, the former partner of rapper 50 Cent, has been named in a $30 million lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging her involvement in the rapper’s alleged sex-trafficking ring. According to court documents, Combs reportedly bragged about paying a monthly stipend to Joy and two other women for their sex work.
Joy, who has not publicly addressed the allegations, shares a son with 50 Cent and dated him in 2011. Amid the legal battle, the “In Da Club” rapper has been openly critical of Combs, often taking to social media to mock him.
The lawsuit was filed by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who accused Combs of sexual assault and coercing him into soliciting sex workers. Jones claimed that he was drugged and raped at a party in February 2023.
Combs and his team have vehemently denied all allegations, with his attorney Shawn Holley calling Jones a “liar” seeking financial gain. Combs’ lawyer, Aaron Dyer, also criticized the government’s search of his properties as a “witch hunt” and a “gross overuse of military-level force.”
As federal investigations continue and Combs faces multiple sexual assault lawsuits, 50 Cent has been unsympathetic, suggesting that the mounting allegations could spell the end of his nemesis’ career.
