Brendan Paul, a 25-year-old man accused in a recent lawsuit of being Sean “Diddy” Combs’ drug “mule,” was arrested on Monday at Miami’s Opa-Locka Airport. According to Rolling Stone, Paul was taken into custody by Miami-Dade police on cocaine and marijuana possession charges.
The arrest occurred around 4:30 p.m., and police claim that the contraband was found in Paul’s personal travel bags. Officers tested the suspected cocaine, which led to Paul’s arrest. He is currently being held at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $2,500 bond for the two charges.
This development comes as federal agents recently raided Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami homes, allegedly as part of a sex trafficking investigation. A lawsuit filed by music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones accused Paul of acquiring and distributing drugs and guns for Combs. A source close to the situation confirmed to Rolling Stone that the mugshot of the arrested man matched the individual named in Jones’ complaint.
Diddy has denied the allegations made by Jones, and there is currently no evidence linking the drugs found on Paul to the hip-hop mogul.
